- Okras/Ladys Finger
- Cumin Powder-1 tsp
- Turmeric powder-1 tsp
- Chilly powder-2 tsp
- Coriander powder-1 tsp
- Garam masala-1 tsp
- Corn flour-2 tbsp
- Rice flour-1 1/2 tbsp
- Gram flour-1/4 cup
- Required salt
- Oil for frying
Bhindi Fry / Crispy Okra Fry / Bhindi Kurkuri is a very easy to make and it is Simply delicious.This Crispy ,Spicy Okra Fry goes great as a Tea time snack /Starter /Appetizer.You can also serve this as a side dish for rice varieties or even with chapathis/Parathas.
The main work for this is in cutting and de-seeding the Okra .You can also fry with seeds also ,but it will taste bitter after frying
- Wash the Okras well and pat dry with paper towel.Trim the top and tail of the Okras.Remove the seeds and cut them into thin strips.
- In a bowl,put all the okra strips and add the spices Cumin powder,turmeric powder,chilly powder,coriander powder,garam masala ,lemon juice and required salt.Mix them well
- Add Corn flour,Rice Flour and Gram flour/Besan Flour.Combine everything together.
- Fry them in hot oil .
- Crispy Bhindi Kurkuri is ready.
You can also fry with seeds also ,but it will taste bitter after frying
The Oil must be hot or else the Okra will become soggy.
